Exceptional Mentor Award

The Exceptional Mentor Award recognizes a CNLM Fellow who demonstrates a track record of excellent intentional mentorship, or who has impacted the climate of a department or graduate program to better support the training experiences of early career scientists, particularly those from historically underrepresented groups.

  • Purpose and Criteria: The Exceptional Mentor Award recognizes a CNLM Fellow who demonstrates a track record of excellent intentional mentorship, or who has impacted the climate of a department or graduate program to better support the training experiences of early career scientists, particularly those from historically underrepresented groups.
  • Eligibility: Must be a current and active CNLM Fellow.
  • Requirements: Nomination statement summarizing the nominee’s qualifications for this award (no more than two pages) and nominee’s CV.
