Full Time Professor
Department of Neurology

Our group studies systems biology of cognitive health and disease in older adults. In current studies, we use multi-omics data (metabolomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, genomics) obtained from peripheral blood of rigorously phenotyped human subjects to understand cognitive aging trajectories. We are developing biomarkers that can be used to identify preclinical Alzheimer’s disease. We are also using these approaches to understand metabolic characteristics of excellent cognitive abilities.
