Dear CNLM Community,

I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Morgan Coburn is stepping into the role of Assistant Director of the CNLM Office of Outreach and Education. As an invaluable member of our team since she joined us as an Outreach and Education Fellow last year, Morgan has consistently demonstrated her dedication to expanding neuroscience education, engaging our community, and fostering inclusive participation in neuroscience.

In her new position, Morgan will take on a leading role in managing, implementing, and expanding the CNLM’s many outreach, training, and education programs. These include the CNLM Ambassador program, UCI Brain Camp, the Brain Explorer Academy, the Irvine Summer Institute in Neuroscience, and the Southern California Youth Neuroscience Association, to name a few. Additionally, she will work closely with me to evaluate the impact of these programs on our stakeholders and the broader community, contributing to the scholarly work in neuroscience outreach and education and helping to ensure that our initiatives remain effective, inclusive, and aligned with our mission.
