Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory Awards
Dear colleagues,

We are inspired by the young scholars of the CNLM. We are inspired by their unwavering dedication to excellence in scholarship and service that is fundamental to the CNLM’s mission. We are inspired by their resilience and positivity, especially against the backdrop of a global pandemic and a national reckoning on racial injustice. We are inspired by their hard work, their willingness to support each other, and their strength to persevere through research shutdowns. Now, we must recognize the incredible contributions they have made over the past year. It is time for us to celebrate their victories and their resilience with the CNLM’s Young Scholar Awards.

We invite you to reach out to your graduate students, undergraduate students and postdoctoral fellows in your lab to remind them that you appreciate their incredible work and encourage them to apply for the CNLM Young Scholars Awards. In addition to $1,000 awards, finalists will have the opportunity to present their research to the CNLM community during the Virtual Awards Ceremony in May.

Sincerely,

Michael Yassa
